Quanto abbiamo scritto nel corso delle ultime 2 settimane, si è concretizzato alla fine nell’arco di questo weekend dove Henrik Kristoffersen ha di fatto lasciato, salutando sui suoi canali social, la sua ormai ex marca di sci storica Rossignol, per abbracciare il progetto di Marcel Hirscher ed utilizzare la sua nuova marca di sci, Van Deer, a partire già dalla prossima stagione agonistica.

D’altro canto i rumors erano diventati davvero esistenti oltre che assordanti, tanto che non si aspettava altro che l’annuncio ufficiale di questa nuova unione che di fatto andrà a segnare un nuovo ciclo e un nuovo ingresso all’interno dello sci alpino; e tutto ciò si è avverato con soddisfazione del talento norvegese che adesso sarà alla prese con una nuova sfida personale.

Come abbiamo scritto già molte volte, il fatto che il miglior sciatore di ogni epoca, King Marcel, abbia deciso di scendere in campo sotto questa nuova veste è già a prescindere un fattore di garanzia ed affidabilità, perché non ci si imbatte in un progetto seguito da persone come lui e come la sua famiglia senza essere fondato su basi solide, ed evidentemente i test di Henrik sono andati così bene che la trattativa tra lui e questo nuovo brand si è chiusa in tempi davvero brevissimi.

Per certo non ci si aspettava che Van Deer potesse subito suggellare un accordo di questa caratura andando a firmare uno degli atleti tecnici più forti al mondo se non il più forte; magari qualche anno di apprendistato sarebbe stato più pensabile ma aver concluso un accordo simile significa aver già bruciato le tappe ed essere pronti sin dal day one a puntare sugli obiettivi massimi attraverso un atleta che adesso diventa subito l’emblema di questa scuderia.

Ora il punto di domanda è: chi sarà la prossima persona che deciderà di seguire le orme di Kristoffersen? Perché adesso si potrebbe scaricare un effetto domino anche su una molteplicità di atleti, sia a livello femminile che maschile, possibilmente attratti dalla prospettiva di questi sci nuovi ancora, c’è da dire, a scatola chiusa. Però se un atleta del calibro di Henrik lascia una casa che lo ha seguito sin dagli esordi per una appena nata per fare il definitivo salto di qualità, beh, siamo a un passo decisamente più ampio dalla suggestione.

Come diceva Battisti seguendo il testo di Mogol, “lo scopriremo solo vivendo”, anche seguendo con attenzione la nuova stagione di Kristoffersen, ma c’è qualcosa di più di una sensazione che una nuova era stia per sorgere nello sci alpino, sempre firmata Hirscher, stavolta però dall’altro lato delle nevi. E non ci sarebbe da stupirsi nemmeno tantissimo.

Exactly one week ago, we have talked about the new Hirscher’s project: the new ski brand, Van Deer, personally managed by King Marcel and his family; roughly some hours later after that post, on internet it came out the rumour that Henrik Kristoffersen, the historical rival of Hirscher on the track for many years in the white intercontinental circuit, had done a some steps to joining in the next season with this new ski.

By the way, nowadays, there isn’t any official statements and obiouvsly until there’ll be this last one, we’re talking about just a “pour parler”, but this is a such important news because this chatting start to be interesting not just for the switching that for the norway athlete will be unbelieveble, but also for the dinamics into the “white circus” that, inevitably, would change. And a lot.

With Kristoffersen, Marcel Hirscher since his first year as a “constructor”, would present to the world his skis with one of the most important skier in the world, an authenic champion, true champion, and an advertising to all of us that this new ski’s factory wants absolutely act up a first actor role immediately. If Henrik will change his currently skis, Rossignol, for Van Deer will be for sure because this materials can gives him the tools to catch up the pre-established goals that always have always one and only one common denominator, victory.

As well as Kristoffersen, this join might be an authenic strong attractive for other athlets even di first level, so for Hirscher this “engangment” would traduce in a turning point at year zero, but maybe we keep to travel too soon actually, nowadays there isn’t any sign by Henrik, but talking about that it’s a very important think to do.

So, we wait and see that will happen but, for sure, in case this is one of the most important moves within in a chessboard that could trigger a top-level dominance effect into the ski alpine world.
